The Japanese-style room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the river and hills. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. I particularly enjoyed the traditional Japanese dinners served in my room, which were absolutely superb. The breakfasts in the dining room were also delicious, and the river view made it even more delightful.
No negatives, everything was perfect.

The hotel had amazing facilities with a beautiful river view. the rooms were spacious and clean with a traditional Japanese feel. the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even offering us free afternoon tea and public onsen tickets. the fact that they provided an efficient and helpful shuttle service to different locations was a great plus for the hotel.
The hotel was a bit far from the main bath streets, but the shuttle service provided by the hotel took care of that and made our travel more comfortable. Another small downside was that the hotel's onsen was a little small, but we came for the public onsens anyway so that wasn't a major issue.

Staying here was such an amazing experience! The delicious breakfast and dinner served in the traditional Japanese room were so yummy! The hotel's location right by the river was breathtaking and the view was so serene! So great to relax in the onsen after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel's shuttle bus was very convenient and made it easy to go to the city center. The staff was lovely and helped me understand the local food.
The hotel isn't located in the city center which was a bit of a bummer as I had to take the shuttle bus to get around. The public onsen was not as big as I thought it would be.
